 Bred by Jesse Heimer 7th parity sow Bred to Icy Hot for a January litter This sow is the backbone of our white, down eared project. She was purchased as a bred gilt in Jesse Heimer’s dispersal sale. She had a terrific show career, being named Reserve Champion Landrace gilt at the 2002 Summer Type Conference, going on to become the Champion Landrace gilt and Grand Champion Gilt overall at the 2002 Illinois State Fair. Her littermate was shown by the Simmons family in Indiana and was named the Champion Landrace gilt at the 2002 Summer Type Conference, as well as the 2002 Indiana State Fair. In her second litter, she raised the Champion Landrace gilt at the 2004 Summer Type Conference. We strongly believe that she is one of the premier Landrace sows in the country. |
