 Black Smith X Bred by Tom Webster & Family Owned with Matt Neal 4th parity sow Bred to Sugar Daddy for a January litter I never really saw myself having a Berkshire gilt on my farm, but this is no ordinary Berkshire. Phenotypically, she is one of the best looking sows in my herd. She was a powerful show gilt that Kyle & Cory Webster showed in the summer of 2006. She has truly surpassed my expectations. In her first litter she produced the Champion Berkshire Gilt and Champion Berkshire Barrow at the 2007 Wabash County Fair. In her second litter she produced the high-selling boar at the 2008 CPS Southwest Type Conference. SGI purchased this boar for $3,700 and named him ìBlack Diamondî. In her third litter she produced the Champion Berkshire gilt at the 2008 Wabash County Fair IN, and the Reserve Champion Berkshire Boar at the 2008 Indiana State Fair which sold for $1,100. She has the best litter that she has ever produced out of Sugar Daddy!!! |
